The Bavaro Princess is extraordinary in size, with over 96 acres of endless landscape, some of it tamed, some of it wild. Fanned -shaped palms, wandering peacocks flaunting their plumage, flowering trees, trails through mangroves, jungle with lagoons and natural springs, only begin to describe the abundance, of nature's beauty.

The main pool is so large, that an aerial view at close range can hardly depict the swimmers! Islands within the pool flourish with towering bamboo and a shallow end which spills without an edge like a lagoon, is perfect for children. The big bonus is the beach. It is magnificent, with miles of white sand, graced by hundreds of coconut palms.

Dining: There are many dining options, but most striking is the Chopin Restaurant,which has it's own magical setting, carved within the jungle over a lagoon buried in tropical foliage. At night, the vines, elephant leaves, feathering palms and mangroves are lit up by flood lights. A small boat with a pianist appears, serenading those dining by candlelight, with romantic music. The Hispaniola is the main restaurant with a capacity of 500 seats, and offers large buffets with show cooking and five theme nights. Casual attire is certainly acceptable. An all suite resort offers updated and spacious accommodations in 30 three-story villas, with 24 junior suites in each, through acres of natural gardens. The pool is a lagoon size, like an oasis with little Islands of flourishing palms within the pool and an inner Jacuzzi. A long white beach enshrouded with coconut trees and sun shelters of thatched palapas, is beautifully facing the Caribbean sea. Brightly colored sails of wind surfers and catamarans can be seen against a cloudless sky. A heavenly location for relaxation or water-sports activity.

A perfect location with all facilities aligning with the beach and steps from the Caribbean Street.The name is in honor of the Tiano Indians, the first inhabitants on this 15 mile stretch of bone-white beach. Their talents in thatching, may have inspired that very palapa, you may be sitting under; suntan lotion applied and ready to embrace the golden rays. While the Indian may have kayaked with fishing line, you can soar across turquoise waters, on a windsurfer or sailboat. Legacies of Indians aside, you'll still feel some lingering connection by the beauty of natural vegetation, in this beachfront location.

The spacious lobby with high wood-ceiling with a dominican style peak, and natural white stones walls opens to gardens of banana trees, ferns growing up date palms, hedges bursting with red flowers. Caribe Club Princess Resort & Spa

On a beautiful expanse of white beach, swept with coconut palms the sister hotel to Bavaro Princess is part of a Spanish chain of Resorts. It is the newest to the chain and only 3 years old. One enters into a spacious open-air lobby with a huge thatched covering, polished floors, gigantic iron-crafted seashells which serve as lights at the front steps. As one walks through to the other side, there is an expanse of sprawling lawns and a small replica village with shops in pastel Caribbean style design, including a typical little Dominican house which bears the sign, " Internet." A pathway through natural mangrove and tropical foliage takes one to another vast opening with a long languishing pool and the hotel section with vibrant earth colors of rusts and lemon. Individual restaurants, each with it's own distinction and theme, seemingly create a little row of dining options. Like strolling along a street within the gardens. The Fiesta Palace is superbly located on the beautiful Bavaro Beach. You can float in the swimming pool and look out at the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
